  22. Hmm. This certainly isn't the case as far as I can see abd I am a beta 
  23. tester. (but can't spell well). And my tests show that on an average, a 
  24. 100mhz Petium is about 3-6 times faster than a 4000/040 at rendering.

  26. The tex examples scene with medium antialiasing and trace shadows on took 
  27. 4 mins to render on my Pentium and 27 minutes to render on a 2000/040 
  28. 33mhz which is faster than a CBM4000/040.

  30. As far as the SGI version of LW being faster, is this Modeler or 
  31. rendering in Layout? I'd like to know....
